So do the park’s other features: hiking and cross-country ski trails through sand dunes or pine-oak forest; a historic site that tells Wasaga’s colourful naval history; jazz concerts and military re-enactments. Rent your own personal watercraft on the beautiful waters of Georgian Bay or take a ride on the big banana commercial tube ride, being towed by our 340 hp offshore power boat.
The trails have easy access routes to commercial centre’s, yet only a few feet away you are once again lost in the beauty of the sand dune system and abundantly forested landscape. try casting your rod in the Nottawasaga River for some magnificent game
fishing. There are also boat rentals available and great canoe routes
to explore. Take Hwy 26 East out of Collingwood. Turn left at Mosley St. Exit then follow the signs towards the beach.

Bayview Beach is located in the beautiful town of Thornbury, about 15 minutes West of Collingwood. Take Hwy 26 West into Thornbury, then turn RIGHT at the Esso Station. Take another RIGHT at the end of the street and you are there. Christie Beach
